Really nice hotel and staff. Very, private, secure and well maintained. Individuals can park at the hotel and walk around for shopping and dining or take the train. I would say the ocean view room was romantic. Even just one night was a dream date. We got here and enjoyed the view, went to dinner on the pier, came back, went to the hot tub, watched the sunset, bought popcorn and iced tea from the lobby and watched a movie in our room. ~~And our kids were with us but the king room has a divider between the bed and sofa bed and there is white noise machine. Tomorrow we look forward to an amazing breakfast and trip to the beach/playground. It is very relaxing an convenient here. Clean, peaceful, quiet. Slow paced and just a nice place to forget about life for a while while enjoying loved ones company.

So much about this hotel is wonderful. It's all about the LOCATION. Right on the beach... Right around the corner from "Hello Betty's Fish House". I could walk outside, around the corner and sit at the bar of Betty's for a drink. You know. Like a grown up.

The rooms are nice. You have to pay a considerable lot more for an ocean view. But the top floor boasts a spacious facility with an incredible view. In addition, there is a heated pool and long rectangular hot tub for many to enjoy. 

The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it's right next to the train. Though the hotel provides ear plugs and white noise machines, it's still hard not to wake up in the middle of the night from the noise. I had a little trouble with that. My colleagues had more than I.

Still, I would recommend this for the location and the pool. Great hotel!

Very clean, nice sized room, comfortable bed. Has Starbucks espresso bar in lobby restaurant.  Nice lounge area and good size jacuzzi.  Pool and jacuzzi are handicap accessible.  Restaurant is good and has full bar.

Pretty pricey for a room that backs up to  railroad tracks but the room itself was beautiful. Breakfast here is the same as every other Marriott. Kids are excited for rooftop yoga this morning. Apparently there is an issue with people entering the hotel who don't belong so you can't get past the lobby without a key and t the key only allows you to exit on your floor. Valet parking is a $30 upcharge and really not an option since Oceanside had no overnight parking on the roads.

Great roof top bar to catch the sunset.  You don't have to wait for seats just go upstairs.  However it gets fairly packed around sunset during Friday - Sunday.
