It may be the folks in Idaho Falls are just friendly, but the desk staff gentleman was extremely friendly and informative. We arrived late at night and was welcomed as old friends. He found us a nice room with a king bed, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out this was a 100% non-smoking property. He gave us a great rundown on the amenities the property has to offer the wished us a good night sleep. The room was clean and very neat with very nice bath products. The bed was very comfortable and the property was nice and quiet. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection. Checkout was quick with the desk staff lady being friendly and wishing us well in our travels with a nice smile. The thing that stood out is the staff seemed they honestly wanted to make out stay enjoyable, not just being typically courteous. We plan on staying there again soon.

I usually love Best Western Plus'. This one was unfortunately was not a good stay.
Pros: 
The pool/hot tub was pretty good size and clean.
The room was nice and pretty large (we were given a handicapped room for some reason)
I thought the bed was comfortable- they are really soft and squishy. 
The lady at the front desk was nice. 

The cons: 
If you were not at breakfast by 630, everything was cold and hard. They only fill things at the start of breakfast, so over time, it gets cold and hard. But it did have a nice selection for early risers. The breakfast attendee just sits on her phone all of breakfast. 

Housekeeping does not listen to the "do not disturb" signs. 2/3 mornings they ignored the sign handing on the door handle. They do not change your sheets. We had them come in one morning of our stay, didn't leave the card on the bed that said  "do not put on clean sheets". Instead, they kept our sheets on anyway and just remade the bed. They also left one of the trash cans full and did not clean anything in the bathroom.

Our room keys kept failing to work so we kept having to get new ones made.

The walls are thinner than paper. You can hear everyone having a low level conversation. Just walking past the rooms, you could hear people inside, even if they were not yelling. This includes dogs who do not stop barking all night long, from way down the hall. I complained to the front desk after the first time, but it kept going our whole stay.

Overall, very displeased with the stay and will not return.

Great location if you are just passing through Idaho Falls.  It is next to the freeway (but not close enough to hear noise) and there are 3 good restaurants right next to the hotel. There is a decent area to walk dogs, and the rooms have dog-friendly decor.  Breakfast was great (orange juice was excellent). The only down side is that the rooms are a bit pricier than some others, but the proximity to the freeway and restaurants made up for it.

My family and I are so grateful to have stayed in your hotel. Not only were the amenities fantastic, pool area, specious suits, and friendly staff, I'm glad we were able to enjoy a nice stay with our kids and fur babies!!! it's nice not to have to stay in a dive hotel just because we have pets! Thank you Best western! We highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay!

Great hotel in Idaho Falls.  First time staying here with family.  My grandkids loved the pool and hot tub and didn't want to leave the hotel.  I stayed on points but the price is very reasonable.  Excellent breakfast with lots of choices.  Very attractive lobby and the free cookies at check-in were great.
