All three stars are for the great staff at the facility, they are super helpful and professional.  Unfortunately though this space is currently under some construction.  Though it is clearly posted that the facility is smoke free, the smell of smoke was ever present in the hallway.  Toilet had rust flowing down the back and the toilet was not fully secured to the floor, so it moved when you initially sat on it.
Always good to have free breakfast, but the quality of the eggs were poor, and the bagels tasted a bit stale.  Thankfully coffee was decent.

Pool heater broken,  side outside door broken , food for breakfast not replenished. We were unable to use some facilities due to unruly children. However room was clean and comfortable.

My wife and girls really like this hotel. We will tell all our friends and will stay again. Loved the indoor pool.

I had an amazing time! The staff is very helpful but noninvasive. The rooms are nice, the beds are so nice, and i love the key cards for the rooms lol my daughter loved the hottub and i loved the 24/7 coffee and free breakfast. And Romas pizza is conveniently right across the parking lot! It definitely deserves the 4.0 stars it already has if not 5! I'd recommend it to anyone!

This was my first time staying at a hotel in Bear, DE. This Best Western Plus was clean, efficiently run, had the best large indoor Jacuzzi I have seen lately, a great breakfast, and a quiet, comfortable room and surrounding area. Helpful, knowledgeable staff of the Bear area saved me money and time when circumstances demanded it. I'm very pleased with this hotel, and loved that they had a reciprocal relationship with area eating establishments, like Texas Roadhouse across the highway, that benefited their patrons, like me and my colleagues. Thank you--I will be back and am happy to recommend to others, hence this very positive review!
