My husband and I stayed at this hotel and everything was great all around except the bed was too tall trying to get in and out of it.  It also would have been better to have had larger pillows with our king bed instead of the 4 smaller standard size.  Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel.  The staff was very friendly and courteous and it was obvious they held customer satisfaction seriously.

This hotel is clean and very comfortable, It has a nice breakfast which includes eggs and sausage or bacon each morning as well as the regular continental menu. The  pool is just the right size and clean. The staff is friendly. It is located fairly close to the university. I stayed at three Best Westerns this summer and this was the nicest. We will continue to stay there when visiting my son.

For a Newer Hotel whom is supposedly represents it's name a University Hotel. It's very nice and modern. It has thin walls I heard everything from both rooms on both sides of me. I booked two rooms , what I'm most upset about is I'm in a conjoined room . My family is a room down the hall . While in the room I paid 300.00 for 2 rooms. The conjoined room I hear nothing but Drunk people come in and out of the rooms on each side . Plus nothing but sexual sounds of each side! I know it's a Newer Hotel but I will never stay here again! I have a child who will go to the University and we will be visiting a lot ! Paperthin walls , kids working at the front desk. They offer things such as toothpaste , razors, shaving cream ect.. Things that have been left at home. I called the front desk if they could bring shaving cream to the room, the young girl told me I had to come get it!! AFTER I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT LISTENING TO PEOPLE ON BOTH SIDES OF MY ROOMS AND AFTER COMING BACK FROM A VERY COLD FOOTBALL GAME WHICH MY CHILD PLAYS AT THE UNIVERSITY!!! BEING GREETED BY A DRUNK ADULT CARRYING A BOTTLE OF LIQUOR ! Way too much craziness for a new business , who greets their customers with college kids at the front desk and associates the business with the University!!!!!

I stayed here for four nights with my adult daughters over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff was amazing--smiling faces, very personable and helpful. I called to make my reservation, and the person I spoke with answered every question I had with sincere good humor and without any impatience, making me feel as though my time and needs were important to her. 
The people working the front desk in the lobby handled the few requests I made (extra towels, etc.) immediately and with a smile, telling me their goal was to make their guests feel at home. In fact, they repeated that statement several times during our stay, and I can tell you that they definitely achieved their goal. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The food at their breakfast bar was delicious and plentiful--everything from cold cereal to oatmeal, eggs and bacon/sausage to make-your-own waffles, add-ins and toppings galore, plus juice/milk/coffee/tea...AND fresh fruit! They even had Greek yogurt, three different kinds of bread for toast, pastries, and bagels (with cream cheese!). Even ten minutes before breakfast was supposed to end, the buffet was well stocked with whatever you wanted from their selection. I have to manage my diet, and they made that very easy. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk/drive--from fast-food to sit-down fancy eating. It's near I-59 and within five minutes of both a Wal-Mart and a very large shopping center (Target; Ross; Bed, Bath, and Beyond; etc.). The next time I travel to Hattiesburg and need a hotel, I will definitely plan on staying at BWP University Inn again!
