First and not last trip. I can honestly say after many years of camping, I have found the best. Four night Labor Day weekend was fantastic. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Spoke to a long term (25yrs) site resident who was very friendly and had nothing bad to say. Look forward to returning with grandchildren on next visit. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the bathhouses need a little updating and it would be nice for 1 more near River Birch and the storage field. Also avoid sites near treatment area at end of Cherry and Sassafras. Thank You Bethpage, look forward to returning.

Nice resort with a water park, a bit pricey now but plenty to do and a lot of property.

This is a nice campground. But the staff service is horrible. We came for the Urbanna Oyster Festival and that was a huge mistake. They double up each lot and still charge you full price, there are double the people, and this weekend is for being loud and drinking. That may be part of the staffs rudeness. They should cut back on how many people they allow and let people enjoy the weekend. The music is so loud we have called several times to complain. You can't even enjoy your time outside. There are too many golf carts with music full blast, too many kids running around unsupervised. So maybe another weekend would be better. But don't come this weekend unless you want to feel like you're in a night club.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Sites are spacious and for the most past pretty level. Stayed for 6 nights over labor day weekend. Over the years the security has done a better job with the kids on the golf carts. If you have small kids or pet's keep an eye on them. The young adults as I'll call them have zero regard for others. Racing up and down the streets with music blasting is crazy. Not to mention the language coming from the songs they are playing in my opinion was less than appropriate. All in all a great place. We'll definitely return next season.

Beds suck in cottage, you have to pay extra for everything. Water park is lit. Slides are dope. Welcome to my hood, for my home dawg J Tizzle. Don't wear icy watches, dey be on the lookout everywhere trying to get silly. Don't need for speed the golf carts cause they be having too much go-to juice. Rest easy player. Z-DAWGG OUT
