Decent hotel. Not the greatest hotel but reasonably clean and not a bad price. I would consider staying again. The breakfast had a waffle maker and cereal but not a lot else.

It was a nice place to stay. Tv wasn't working they came straight up to check it out couldnt fit it so they put us in another room this was at 230am. Very nice people  I would recommend this hotel

My stay here was horrible. I normally never leave a review but my stay here deserves a fair warning for anyone. I checked in and as I entered the room and felt like I stepped into the 80's. I honestly believe the only thing that has been replaced or updated since the. 80's is the tv. I turn the tv on and notice the remote did not work and there was no way to change the channel by the broken remote or the tv itself. Frustration sets in. So I decided to take a nap. I lay down and the springs from the ancient mattresses dig into me. Only a corpse could sleep well on the beds here. I put a do not disturb sign on the door and attempt to sleep. A short time later maintenance was knocking on the door and disturbing wanting to come spot paint the room. Why it was such a necessity to disturb me to paint is beyond my comprehension. Later on in the evening I go outside and people are literally cleaning fish in the parking lot. Those people dumped the remains in the grass out side the entrance to the hallway. The smell was overwhelming by morning. So in the morning I decided to check out of this dump. I called the front desk and informed them I would be checking out as I had booked the room for a longer stay. They said no problem and I left. The next day I noticed I had been charged for more than one night. Even that price was more than the one I was originally quoted. I contacted the manager who was a very nice woman and she explained that she was unable to do anything until she spoke to the owner who will not return her call. It has  been 2 days now. I realize quickly that I can not blame the staff as their hands are tied. I feel it's safe to assume this hotel is owned by paranoid foreigners who are micro managing a business from a phone. I feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with that. So if your expecting a nice place to stay I suggest you go elsewhere. The problem is not the staff but the poor ownership. I have been in touch with corporate and have opened a resolution claim. I definitely would not recommend this dump.

Very helpful staff.  Convenient location to Tappahannock and very reasonable rates.  Mostly clean except for the used tissue in the room safe and bottle cap under the microwave.  Bathroom vent needed and TV should be mounted on wall. Hard to see from the second bed. Would still stay here again.

Very friendly. Great customer service. Rooms were clean. Not a high end place. But good for what you pay. Decent breakfast.
