Great personal service. It’s obvious they put a premium on giving a care. I’ve gotten individual attention and literally hours worth of great information with zero sales pressure. Really enjoyable experience. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with bikes and riding, nutrition, the latest technology. I bought a pair of riding shoes and staff member spent two hours mounting my new cleats and talking to me about all aspects of my upcoming endurance ride. I’m just an average Joe pursuing a healthy hobby but they give me dedicated personal service and limitless patience. Great knowledge-driven alternative to mindlessly ordering online. A terrific home-town shop like this is one of the reasons I love to live in Austin.

We bought a bike and gear at this shop about a year and a half ago...and I've stopped in for minor maintenance a few times. Good purchase experience and the different service folks I've dealt with (Lisa, Mitchell) have been friendly, attentive, NOT snobby, and very fair in their pricing. The location is great...lots of parking...huge inventory. Even used bikes. Highly recommend for all things bike.

I can’t even explain how great the customers service was at BSS. I was in a really tough spot and Brett went out of his way to accommodate me and my issues. I’ve owned my own rental companies in the past and these guys set the standard for bike shops. I will only shop at BSS from this point on. Thanks you Brett, I am more than grateful.

Sometimes the help can be a little indifferent, but not this time. They were attentive, listened to my needs, and made great recommendations for bicycles, keeping cost in mind. They have a wide selections of styles and models.

Huge selection of bicycles for all ages. Great location. Convenient hours. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. It doesn't get better than this.
