Since this store opened, I've gone there lots over the years because of the good value of Performance branded products, but I'm done with this particular store.  The last straw was when I was in there recently to look at several bikes in the $2500 price range.  There were two staff guys right by me moving bike boxes and neither even acknowledged my presence until after a good 5 minutes I was taking a bike down and one guy asked "Can I help you with that".  I just said "Got it" and the guy didn't say anything else.  I ended up going up the road to Bicycle Sport Shop where I received a friendly greeting, and a cheerful sales staff member was helping me within 90 seconds.  Needless to say that's where I ended up buying my bike.

I arrived with less than an hour before they closed up on a Friday and Chris took exceptional care of me.  New tubes, a deraileur cable and before I got out the door I broke off the headset screw.  They know their stuff here. There is a difference, you need right tools and people with experience to work on todays bikes, they have it in spades!

I bought a mountain bike here and went back last weekend to get the bike serviced. The staff were super friendly and was able to service the bike while I attended a birthday party next door. When I bought the bike they told me that I could get free service/adjustments for the life of the bike but when I went this time to have service/adjustment the service department made a point of telling me that it would normally be $15 but she wouldn't charge me this time.
