It was a nice experience. We had a holiday party there. They had a separate room just for us which made conversing more pleasing. The staff was exceptionally pleasant. The food was good, but sadly the best part of my meal was a baked sweet potato. The grilled catfish and salmon that was on my combination platter had a boring flavor and was dry. Overall, I felt the meal was overpriced.

This restaurant was recommended to us and I was disappointed. Initially I ordered the Lobster Bisque. Prior to ordering I asked the server if it had any lumps/pieces of lobster in it. She said 'yes'. Upon receiving it there were no bits of lobster anywhere. It was entirely 'smooth'. I returned it and just had a salad. (I was impressed with the salad bar). The other thing that was the most troublesome was that my guy asked about getting the Snapper Special fried vs. broiled. She said it could not be fried. He decided to order it broiled anyway. When she came back with our drinks she told him that he could get it fried after all. Therefore, he ordered it fried. Upon receiving it, it was Snapper 'balls'. Something you would serve to a child. They had cut the snapper up into balls and fried them. If she had told him that it would be served that way he would never have ordered it. The snapper was dry and definitely not what was expected.  My order of fried scallops and fried shrimp was only fair. It was a small quantity and since I have a property at the coast it was not the quality I was accustomed to. Since it was near the end of the night our server was busy cleaning the dining room and never came back until she brought the check.

I have been eating here for years.  Best lobster I've put in my mouth. The servers are always nice and fast.

I’ve grown up going to this restaurant with my family and now being older and working in a restaurant myself I now see how horrible the service from all employees was. The good not being any better was luke warm and dry. I would love to see this place up and better but organization and service needs to improve. Our server came over didn’t introduce herself or the specials for the night nor did she check at all to see if we needed drinks or anything with our food until after we were done eating. The one time she did come over to bring us our food we asked for extra lemon and more hush puppies and then 15 long minutes later we finally got it. so all in all never loved the place but I now see how awful it truly is.
