Ed and staff are great. I am a casual rider with mid level bikes. Ed treats all of his customers as if they are getting their bike ready for the Tour. I had two bike in for tune-ups over the past few weeks. Both times there was the potential for something bigger that needed to be done, but ended up not being necessary. I have incredible respect for Ed. He could have simply gone ahead and performed the extra repairs and I would have thought nothing of it and happily paid the bill. If you are tired of superior attitudes and posturing at other shops, go to the Bike Barn.

Excellent shop! The owner is as kind, patient and honest as they come. I'm lucky enough to live nearby but even if I didn't, completely worth traveling to for such great service.

This is definitely the best bike shop in the capital region. Ed is honest and fair with his pricing and advice. He truly knows his stuff and has a fast turn around for maintenance. I highly recommend going to The Bike Barn for all your biking needs.

I think this is the best bike shop in the area. Ed and his staff really care about their customers and the new location is outstanding. The merchandise in the store is carefully chosen and relevant. Ed provides great advice and he's an experienced rider. He knows his stuff. I have both bought a bike off the rack with them and then had another one custom built. Every time, Ed and his people go above and beyond to make sure I have a great experience cycling. You can't go wrong with the Bike Barn.
