The guys at the Sandy Bingham's are awesome! Charlie the manager will help you with any questions you have about cycling and definitely knows his stuff. Ryan and Bobby will take care of any problems you have with your bike and the quality of their service work is superb. Hit these guys up when your in the area and check out this great shop.  Highly recommend!

Treat their bike customers very well. If you bought it here, take it here for all your servicing. 
Update: These guys are unbelievable! Bought a used bike (not from them this time) and they take such great care of you and your bike! Hailey & Garrett are top notch! Very knowledgeable. Garrett's brake bleed was so quick and lifesaving.. 
Update: 12/29/17 Why go anywhere else? Ryan helped me understand my bike better. Really quick fix.

I do not go here often, and when so, usually for parts as I can fix most of my stuff on my own.

I only have two problems with this place.

The first is that they are so successful and competitive that you frequently need to schedule a bike fix - and then with Saturday, they focus on the busy day with the stream of customers coming in, so they cannot do any repairs. I understand this though, so I give them a pass.

The second problem is that they are five miles from my house. I want it to be within a couple blocks. But then I chose where my house is even after knowing where they were. There used to be a couple competitors that were closer, but I would just as often go to Bingham because of price, experience, and their willingness to work on bikes that are not a standard style (rucumbant).

A good experience over this past summer was that my rear break was not working. I thought I needed a new pad. I never replaced a disc brake pad before, so I brought it in. Again, the schedule was not good. However, the guy at the counter took a quick peek and adjusted the pad. Works great. He said in a couple months, I would need to get them replaced. It is now time, so I will go in today to see if they can do it.

I did have an experience about six years ago. I walk in. The only person there was slightly rude (But not that bad - perhaps he was having a bad day). However, I did walk out with a smile on my face as his voice, the way he talked, posture, body build, and hair color was so much like a coworker that I asked the coworker if he had a brother when I told him about that. The answer was that he did not.  Some people might have been offended, but I was not.  But the other times I was in, I never had a tone else give even a hint of rudeness.

I just purchased a bike from the Sandy store and the staff is awesome. Over the last month of demo rides and conversations, Mike and Bobby helped me find the right bike.  I would highly recommend making a visit to this store if you are in the market for a new bike. No hassles or pressure.

Attention Bingham Cyclery owners, Skylere Bingham and Angela Wright:

The Sandy store staff are absolutely the best, most expert, friendliest store staff I’ve ever encountered. You are to be congratulated for having remarkable employees like, Mikey, Charlie, Bobby, and Ryan. 
I first visited your Sandy location in April 2017 and met with Charlie who listened carefully to my needs and went over, in great detail, what sort of bike would be my best fit. He took his time, never rushed or pressured me, and displayed simply exquisite customer service skills. He turned me onto the Roll Elite and had me try it. I fell in love with it. Still it took until January of this year, and the theft of my old bike, for me to decide that it was time.

So, today, February 22, 2018 I returned to the store after learning from a phone call from Mikey that my Roll Elite, a birthday present from my family, had arrived. I went to pick it up. But there’s more.

It's an amazing piece of modern biking machinery and engineering. I didn't just pick the bike up and leave. I spent an hour with Mikey and received a superb education from him on it. He actually thanked me for my patience while he went through everything having to do with my new bike! He happily and willingly took time to introduce and explain to me a variety of accessories. And, I learned that my bike is registered with Bingham Cyclery for the future and comes with a free full tune-up as a result of the sale. 

This Sandy store is about to celebrate a GRAND re-reopening On March 1-3 after having a store renovation. That store, and all of its employees, are to be applauded and celebrated for their dedication to biking, their superior customer service, and their passion for caring for their customer’s biking needs. 

In short, I think they are an unheralded local business CROWN JEWEL to our community. Skylere? Angela? I hope you celebrate your Sandy team, as they have so earned your unequivocal recognition. The 4.6 stars rating is supposed to be a 5.
