I had an amazing experience here! We stayed here for my brothers conference basketball games. The staff is the friendliest and courteous I have ever met and I love how personable they are. One of the staff helped me carry my stuff and that wasn't even her job but she went out of her way to help me and I really appreciated it. Also, I love how every staff member I passed smile and said hi to me. I really notice these things and was so impressed by the friendly service here. In addition, the hotel room was so nice and clean and the breakfast is amazing. I feel like I am eating 5 star, loved the bacon, so fresh! I would highly recommend this hotel and had a wonderful experience.

Noticed that there were comments of the rooms needing an update. They must be listening to their guests. The hotel is under major remodeling during which they have managed to keep their guest experience nothing less than excellent. Our suite was on a floor that was far more than updated-- it was a COMPLETE remodel. We would have thought we were in a new property had we not known that we checked in to an established Marriott property. Service was nothing less than exceptional and my definition of exceptional truly means without exception. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Birmingham Marriott is one of the best Hotels I have stayed in last 10 years of my consulting career. Great ambience, clean and friendly environment and good rooms with comfortable beds. Special mention to the staff in Birmingham Marriott. Bradford, a young and very friendly person. Met him first time when I checked in on Sunday and appears that I know him for years. Emily from concierge launge is a great host. Always smiling and welcoming. Would welcome all guests with respect and make sure they feel special is all ways. Last but not the least, Charlie at the reception. Another friendly and helpful host. I forgot my jacket last week and he made sure that he kept it safe and had it ready when I checked in following week. Cannot think of staying anywhere else when I visit Marriott. You guys rock... keep up the great work..

“Very pleasant!” Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Room was clean, staff was courteous and attentive, and area around the hotel felt safe. Had no issues with parking. Breakfast was OK with hot items such as eggs, biscuit and sausage as well as fruits, cereals, etc. Hotel seemed either new or updated, a very pleasant stay overall. Will look forward to staying here...

Was in Birmingham on business. Great location with eateries nearby. Bistro is not complementary, but convenient with nice selection. Try the scones! The building is large, with a courtyard/pool in the center. My room was clean and updated. Public areas all seemed well kept as well. If I was visiting in the area, I would use this hotel again.
