Tried to charge me several dollars more than the reservation quote, which was $56.99 with tax. He ran back and changed to $57.00, when I showed a printout of my reservation. Hot water took a couple minutes to come out of the faucet, and this occurred after I rang the front desk. It is possible that no one had used the hot water in a while at that end of the building, but I have never experienced that at M before this.

Right from the start the staff welcomed me with open arms. Helped with the extra paperwork I needed and was understanding of my medical conditions. The house keeping staff was amazing and friendly.. I look forward to staying there again even just for a little get away..

Had to change rooms several times to find one that was tolerable. The first one was rancidly  smokey and the bathroom had black mold on tile grout. Finally, settled on one that smelled the least offensive, though the bathroom toilet had pee on the rim from previous guests, a ring of filth in the bowl, and the bathtub was moldy with hair and bits of soap from previous guests, with a moldy shower knob. I couldn't even imagine a female guest wanting to stay there.

The only thing good I can say about the room is that the carpet was well vacuumed, the toilet paper was of sufficient strength and quality, and the soap had a pleasant aroma. But, bring your own cleaning supplies if you want to use the bathrooms.

I only saw one cleaning lady who, in her defense, is obviously overworked and most likely underpaid.

There was blood on the shower curtain. The only good thing I can say is that there was no bugs or boogers on anything. 
This hotel was one of the worst hotels my mom and I have ever stayed at. The owner was rude. When we got back to our room after being gone 8+ hours, our room had not been touched by maid service. They were still cleaning the rooms when we returned. My mom called and the person who answered the phone said that our room would be cleaned first. We left and came back, the bed was made and we got new towels, but other than that the room had not been cleaned. Our cups from the night before were on the nightstand and the desk. All they did was the minimum work required. 
We read all the reviews that came up and they said this hotel was great and all gave it 5 stars. If it was possible to give it less than 1 star I would. 
Patel was the name of the manager and 2 of the reviews were written by Patel's which makes me think that it was written by a relative of the manager.
The hotel is one giant safety issue. The room that we stayed at was in the back of the hotel. There was only one way in and one way out of the back of the hotel, and that is a small driveway.
When we went to check out, nobody was in the office and we had to wait 5 minutes for somebody to come and check us out.

Calera, AL. Stay was fine and reasonably priced. Would give a 5 star but they don't have coin laundry. They have a washer and dryer, but they do it for you and charge $15.
