This is one of my favorite places to go hiking. There are actually three different location to this park. The main area is in Uxbridge and follows the Blackstone canal from Uxbridge to Northbridge. This portion consist of a very flat gravel Trail between Stanley Woolen Mill and East Hartford Avenue which follows the canal tow line. Across the street there is apportion that follows the river up to Goat Hill lock and Plummer's Landing this area is more wooden and go Hill is actually a little moderate hike. There is also a trail that runs up to Lookout Rock where are the views of the Blackstone Valley are great. The second area of the Park is Blackstone Gorge which is located in Blackstone Massachusetts. This consist of a very picturesque man-made waterfall at a dam and about a mile and a half of hiking trails that are pretty easy to hike. The third area of the park is Millville Loc which is located in Millville Massachusetts. This is the smallest separate portion of the park. The lock itself is really an interesting artifact. To get to the lock you take a paved path and then a very short walk down a small hill. When I last visited this area they were doing some pretty big renovations and I believe they are going to join this section 2 part of a bike path in the Woonsocket area.

Riverbend is one of my favorite places to walk almost year around. Its a beautiful, scenic, sightseeing heart healthy walking trail with a canal on one side and a river on the other. Its a good 2 mile round trip from Stanley Mill to Tri-River and back. Its also a visitor center.
