I was reading Emily Gumms review and she is spot on. The vet is amazing and was wonderful with my dog. The gals in the front are rude and act like you are a bother to them or stupid if you ask a question. One of the girls there is very nice..the others not so much..

I went to the Bloomington branch of this clinic a little over a year ago.
 I never got around to writing a review, but I remember every detail vividly and would like to finally share them.

I brought my cat in because he seemed to be wheezing. I set up my appointment for about 10 minutes after they opened (I want to say 1:10 PM). I was sitting in the waiting room for almost an hour and watched five other customers get called back ahead of me. 

I reminded them that I had set an appointment for an hour ago and that I had various time constraints. Not long after, they finally called me back. I sat in the examination room and when the vet came in, he was looking at his clipboard the entire time and never once made eye contact with me. 

He grabbed my cat, flipped him around a few times, and listened to his chest, then deemed the wheezing to be a cold. He sat down in a char, stared intently at his clipboard, and said "Thank you" as a means of dismissal. 

So I walked back to the front desk where they were going to be giving me antibiotics for my cat. They told me to give him 0.2mL twice a day, but when i got home and read the instructions they very clearly said "0.4mL twice a day".

I was in no way satisfied with my experience there, and when the wheezing didn't disappear after the antibiotics ran out, I took my cat to Combs Vet Clinic for a second opinion. 

He didn't have a cold. he had a heart murmur.

So, to summarize:
- They were an hour late
- The vet was immensely rude to me and showed poor bedside manner with my pet
- The front desk gave me incorrect instructions on how to use the medication they gave me
- The vet's diagnosis was completely and totally incorrect: rather than a simple cold, my cat had a heart condition

Bloomfield was horrible.

The actual doctor at this location is amazing. Prices are wonderful and he is very knowledgeable. However, the girls that work in the front are by far the rudest people I've ever dealt with at any vets office. To be honest, some of the rudest people I've dealt with anywhere. I was truly worried about my dog and they could not have cared less about the questions I had. Both of them were so annoyed with every phone call and every customer that walked in. If I didn't love the doctor so much, I wouldn't go back.
