Overall, our experience at Blue Dog had some issues, but resulted in a happy ending. Truly, 99% of what I considered poor service surrounded our original salesman; he was out of the office for multiple unexpected reasons (food poisoning, sick child, busy with other inquiries) for the six days following our original meeting (we never did see him again, even at the close of the sale or when we picked up our camper), and was not present or responsive throughout the buying process. Additionally, he provided misinformation regarding required equipment to haul the camper, which could've ended badly. However, I don't want one bad apple to spoil the bunch. I was extremely pleased with the salesman who ended up taking over for him several days in, James Flodin, who was attentive and efficient. We were even more impressed with the Sales Manager, Tom Hanan, who not only completed small but important tasks in his salesman's absence, but also went above and beyond to make a negative situation at closing time a positive. Despite my in-your-face, abrasive complaint in his office, he remained cool, calm and collected, and more importantly, did the right thing to fix it. Tom scored big points in my book, and truly saved a customer with Blue Dog. The Service Department was also helpful and efficient, and patient with my being upset about something that was out of their control. Lastly, another bonus (and the big picture) was we received a beautiful brand new camper at a killer, rock-bottom price, and we can't wait to hit the open road with it. Their prices beat the competition in this area hands down, and we feel we purchased an awesome camper in our budget. **UPDATE** I quickly referred a friend to Blue Dog, who also happily purchased her dream camper the following week. While there was follow up required on my end to ensure the appropriate referral was received, again Tom delivered on his promise that, "Every problem has a solution." He quickly and efficiently handled the discrepancy with our referral, and our check was in-hand the following day. If there's one thing I can say about Blue Dog, it's that even if issues arise, they do the right thing to rectify them.

Going to buy our fifth wheel camper at Blue Dog RV was fantastic. The process was painless, and they were more than accommodating. Lots of choices from great brands with multiple floor plans and option packages really lets you find the camper that will fit your needs perfectly. Will come back to Blue Dog when we are ready for another great experience.

we purchased our RV through Blue Dog's website, Lou was very helpful, all the details were worked out ahead of time making the purchase trouble free, we met Jim at the RV show, he helped us with the paperwork and laughed at my questionable jokes, JC went through the contract with us, he was a lot of fun, which made the tedious task of going over everything in the contract livable. when we got to the trailer Mark showed us how everything worked, the trailer was clean and ready to go. the whole experience was enjoyable, we are very happy with our trailer, and the professional friendly people who made our purchasing experience wonderful, the 6 hours we drove to get to Blue Dog was worth it.

Blue Dog RV has a great selection of RVs and we were able to find a Fusion 414 that we fell in love with. Randy was excellent to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. In the process we purchased a fifth wheel hitch and had it installed. Parts and service did a great job making sure everything was ready to go. On our shakedown trip we found a few items that needed to be addressed. Blue Dog RV made sure we could bring the Fuzion in at our convenience and got right on the repairs. Thank you everyone at Blue Dog RV for taking such good care of us.

So disappointed with every aspect of Blue Dog except the purchase! Good thing they have some good sales people. Our sales guy was awesome; however, every single encounter since dealing with sales guy has been really negative. Financial guy was way too talkative (about nothing to do with camper), too slow and drove us crazy. Then the walk-through experience was a total joke! Thank goodness we have a good friend who helped familiarize us with camp trailer. We knew nothing and learned nothing at walk through. Last, but certainly not least, my biggest complaint is the fact that when I went back several weeks later to inquire whether they would be willing to make a contribution of some soft to Boys & Girls Club of Kootenai County's fundraising auction (lovely facility just blocks from Blue Dog in Post Falls), the people in charge didn't have the professionalism to even respond. I stopped back once after dropping off request, then contacted my sales guy who kindly gave me the donations contact name /phone number, called and had a good conversation with that person who said she would follow up. Not a response of any kind. If the answer was no, then at least I had an answer. But to not even have the decency to respond is unacceptable in my customer service opinion. We wouldn't consider buying again or recommending Blue Dog. Wish we'd finished the deal we had going in Montana instead! Dissatisfied
