Tucked away in a quiet but conveniently located neighborhood, this friendly, relaxing little hideaway is perfect for the weary traveler. There are plenty of common areas to enjoy, including a spacious poolside deck, several hammocks and a charcoal grill in the back yard. There are multiple couches indoors and the air conditioning is ice cold and refreshing. The rooms are efficient and clean. I would highly recommend staying here next time you come to Broward County!

Best described as a halfway house. Three homeless drunks were charming. The hidden fees more than doubles the price at checkout. I should have just slept in the car.

This is a house in a residential neighborhood NOT a commercial establishment. We were “checked in” then the owner left. Others staying were loud until very late, some were stumbling drunk and 2 were doing drugs. Anyone in the “lounge” can stand there watching you sleep in 2 of the bedrooms. The windows in the shower and 2 of the bedrooms face into the “lounge” and have sections missing from the blinds. Someone had urinated all over the toilet seat. TEN people in a small house. Rooms have been split into spaces so small the bed fills pretty much the entire room and some rooms share air vents. Without on site management you are at the mercy of whoever else is staying there. Unsafe and very uncomfortable. Left after 1 night even though paid in advance and it was non-refundable. One star is one star too many.

Mike is the Man: Forget about all those bad reviews about the place. I travel for business and stayed in five star hotels. This is a guest house and it beyond my expectations.. I was very impressed. The tents are cool also ...Mike is professional, prompt , and laid back. My room was small but I booked it through Expedia not the Blue Ocean website. Fort Lauderdale beach is about 10- 15 minute drive and there is good place to eat breakfast in the shopping plaza around the corner from the house. The neighborhood was quiet and aside from small chatter in morning my stay was great.....also you are about 10 min drive to Sunrise BLVD where there is shopping and eating , entertainment the FLL airport is not far about 20-30 off route 1.... I would definitely stay again without hesitation.

Great place. Some of the longer term residents seemed a little weird but overall would use again. Cool, relaxing place.
