I did exactly as I was told to do by my new PCP. Unfortunately for the last several days I've tried to get my prescription refill. Well after several calls I've to the office I get a return call stating the Dr covering for my Dr while she's on vacation advises me to keep my appointment with pain management. The office communication is poor. I'm going to my next visit because I like the Dr but as someone that worked in Dr offices for years their system does need help.

Had an annual check up yesterday... Ended up having to get my blood drawn. The nurse took 2 tubes and I was completely fine during it. She told me I was all set and the directions to get out to the lobby. I put my shoes on and sweater.. I started getting really hot, as I was walking down the hall I got light headed, dizzy and began to faint. The nurse ran from behind the counter and caught me. There was 2 doctors, 4 nurses, and 2 urgent care workers. Within seconds they got me a wheelchair, Orange juice and crackers. Checked my blood pressure and someone sat there with my the whole time. They made sure I was 100% before they allowed me to leave. This was my first time there and I was definitely impressed.

What a joke.  Their wait times are horrendous. Every time I go here a simple check up appointment can take over 2 hours. An hour in the waiting room and an hour in the room itself. There have been times where I have wondered if they forgot about me in the room. Don't go here. I do not have a problem with the Doctors or their staff, but their system is horrible. They obviously take advantage of the system and overbook themselves constantly. I dread making an appointment because usually their next available appointment is 2 months away. If you need an appointment for next week forget it. They will tell you if its life threatening to go to the nearest ER and if its not, to come into their after hours Urgent care. I have spoke with both doctors I have seen here concerning the above issues. They seemingly get upset and their seams to be a lack of communication between the staff and Doctors. One Doctor told me they were going to start scheduling their patients themselves. Bottom Line....I do my due diligence to turn my world upside down and get to my appointment on time only to wait an hour just to go back to the room? Why do I even bother? Why not call me when your ready? This is a service industry! and, well their, service sucks and their system is broken. New patients BEWARE!!!
