This setting may be in lieu of an admission in a designated acute rehabilitation setting.

my mom had great results in this place 4 years ago. the no car in parking lot was spooky. nursing staff was just hanging out between there real life but rehab therapy was great. I was thinking of sending another family member here but changed my mind. I called in early September about service and referring hospital never got call back.

I came into Straith needing a walker and came out six days later under my own power. Everyone there from the director, nurses, aides, therapists, and even the the custodians were wonderful and attentive. Only drawback was the food which was startlingly unhealthy. Overlarge portions, white flour and sugar, everything overly salted, and some meals which bordered on the awful. I thought hospitals were aware of the importance of diet. I had people bring me food as often as possible. But, Straith is the reason I was able to just take a walk, so I give them five stars.

My dad was here for 10 days for rehab. While the facility is bare bones in terms of looks, I found it to be clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing. I came in one day to find a male nurse just sitting and talking with my dad when he was not even on his caseload for that day. That was really nice. I do feel they released him a little early, but they worked with me to quickly get him the services he needed at home and coordinate admission to a longer term facility if we wanted. The staff was truly wonderful, from nurses to social workers. My dad also like the food, which is really saying something.

My Mom is here for treatment after tripping and fracturing her pelvis. The progress I have seen in 2 days has been good! The staff is kind and conscientious and doing ALL they can to get her to be independent as much as she can. I am a nervous wreck about my Mom's injury and probably a big pain in the ass for the staff, but they are reassuring and I am confident that they are making the right choices for my Mom. Best regards to you for needing to find a place to help your loved one! It's really hard to see someone we love need help, but this place helps! My Mom wants to regain her mobility and they are excellent in their knowledge to assist! I am really thankful for this place and all the wonderful people who work here!

The staff was outstanding! From the registration person to discharge person; were absolutely awesome! Surgical nurses Crista, and Kristine were so great at their jobs, and I just wanted to say thank you again.
