Quite delicious food and more gluten free options than most restaurants. The fish and chips were very good and certainly not what I expected. I like most fish batter which can be greasy and not very tasty, the fish at Brandywine was unusual because of its perfectly rectangular shape similar to a fish stick. But the batter was gluten free and was delicious. The fries are definitely made in house as they had the flavour and attitude of being hand cut. The battered cauliflower was quite good as well. My wife said her burger was average but she still at it all. I'd go back next time I'm in town.
100% recommended. Great service, great food. Good portion sizes and very flavorful. We had the pork banh mi, fish tacos, and kids burgers with and without cheese. Food presentation was very appealing. All the food was well seasoned and filling. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We drove in from Birch Bay, where we are vacationing for the week, and it was definitely worth the drive!
This is one of my favorite spots in town. I'll always give it a five star review but... Today they didn't give as many fries and forgot the remoulade on my online order. Always double check before you leave because there is a good reason they are busy!
A number of vegetarian options including an eggplant sandwich, a tofu banh mi, and mac and cheese made with leeks and toasted almonds. The basil dipping sauce is delicious with french fries. I wish they’d bring back an impossible/beyond burger for vegetarians to enjoy; I’ve had one in the past and was sad to see this option go! Service is always quick and kind.
Enjoyed the menu variety, great waiter/waitress 2-3 persons working staff on a Saturday dinner nite out. Prior to MBT concert .spacious tables in large dine room , upstairs seating as well. Will return for sure. Note : They needed proof of vaccination cards prior to ordering your food
Clean, high ceilinged, and casual place with gluten free food and friendly staff. Two floors of dining space for customers must show proof of vax for dine-in , outdoor sidewalk seating available for all. Nice menu selection, order at register in the back and they bring out your order. Happy hour options available too. Street parking.
Smallish menu but it has all you need. Fair prices on great food plus craft beer & cider in a casual family-friendly atmosphere. All your favorite sandwiches & burgers but with a twist. Super fresh and tasty. Order at the counter and the friendly wait staff brings it to your table. Would definitely come back here. Their version of the Banh Mi is pictured
Delicious, healthy, speedy and a chill atmosphere. They ran out of taco shells but improvised with turning the fish tacos into salads, which was actually really tasty. The house made tomato soup was delicious and the salad had lots of yummy toppings. We’ll be back!
Excellent music for lunch, quiet enough for catching up with some of my favorite Canadians, but loud enough to make the space feel intimate. One friend and I had the delicious French dip with potato leek soup, another friend had the gf fish with a green salad. The fish was delicious- well breaded with a light crumb that isn't soggy! The basil dressing is FANTASTIC on a cold winter day and I'm looking forward to trying it with tomatoes in tomato season! This is a great spot to meet, if you are from out of town, bring quarters for parking, 4 quarters for an hour. The iced lavender earl gray tea is wonderful. Parking: Plenty of metered street parking, bring quarters! Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, well spaced tables, good flooring for wheels. Dietary restrictions: If you let them know, they are happy to accommodate.
I like the fish tacos and banh mi sandwiches. I had a salad this time and there were bits of rotten lettuce in it. I can tolerate a little bit, but this was too much. Overall a really nice restaurant with good ambience and outdoor seating is really nice on a nice day.
