Took my daughter here before a Mount Baker Theater show, just a short walk from the theater. Small but diverse menu and the presentation of the food is gorgeous. Everything tasted delicious and healthy. I left my phone in the car so I took a pic the next day of the leftovers at home lol. Deducted a star because it’s very pricey, we ordered crab cakes, steak sliders and the fancy charcuterie, along with two ipas and a rosemary lemonade and it all came to $100 plus $20 tip. Cool place for a splurge tho!
Good cocktails. The shrimp are great. I like the aesthetic of the place, and the really seem like they care about the food and drinks they put out. The tables are a little small once you get a few plates on them. Good spot for a date, or a cocktail and snack meetupFood: 4/5
Distillery. Small plates. Creative, tasty, cocktails. We really enjoyed the shrimp, Jungle Bird and Cover Club were so refreshing.
First time visiting. I wasnt sure at first as it looked like the plates were small for the price. But the food, drinks and service were amazing. It would make for a nice date out or casual dinner with a friend. Items are good to share with another. The margarita was fantastic, not a traditional one but I HIGHLY recomend it for anyone who likes margaritas and fruity drinks. You will have to try it to understand. I would go back, if nothing else to have another Margarita! Vegetarian options: They have options and can work with you to meet your needs. Dietary restrictions: They have great Gluten free and Dairy Free options.
Wonderful and unique craft cockails, friendly and fun waitstaff. We ordered several appetizers which were all good but also ended up ordering a second order of potatoes because we couldn’t get enough! Loved the atmosphere:
First visit... Very enjoyable. A little squishy for a group gathering, but we made the best of it. Food was delicious and beautifully displayed on the buffet they set up for us. I'd love to go there again!Food: 5/5

Love every cocktail I’ve tried after three visits and one of the best cheeseboards I’ve had in years at a restaurant! This is now the place I want to bring my out of town visitors. If you’re considering going, take this as a sign that you should go.Recommended dishesCharcuterie Board
Bellingham does not have many good restaurants, though those are tend to be beyond expectations. Thankfully it now has one more. Beyond the cocktails and food it has to be said, this was by far the most professional and organized wait staff we’ve experienced in town. Try the dessert, amazing.
My wife and I, with two friends, dined at Penny Farthing for the first time Friday evening. Prime time dining can be tough in our town, but we were fortunate enough to be seated quickly. The service by Alli was very timely, very comfortable and friendly despite the frenetic pace at the restaurant. She is a pro, perfect for this spot. Our party selected 5 items to share, Filet Migon Medallions, Sweet Potatoes Au Gratin, Dungeness Crabcake Quartet, Classic Filet Sliders, and Tuscan Ribs a la Rosticerria, and shared the lot so we could all sample. While one in our party found the ribs not to her taste, this was the only critical input for everything, and this lone critique was more personal preference than product. We all left the restaurant musing about the newest top tier restaurant in town. For a relatively small town, Bellingham offers great dining choices, with many good and several great places. Penny Farthing registers squarely in the Great category. The following day, a Facebook user asked for recommendations for dining after a long covid hiatus. Without reservation, my comment liked by many - apparently we are not alone was "Penny Farthing is stellar". Shine on, folks, you are offering us all a great dining experience!
