My family and I - 3 adults/3 children - stayed here this past weekend in the Paint Brush (motel room, not cabin). The room was cozy and made us really feel like we were staying in the mountains...especially since we could open our window and had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Despite being right off the highway we found it very quiet and comfortable. I loved the easy access to the national park and shops. You can also take a leisurely stroll along the river. The staff was friendly and I appreciated that they called at 6pm to explain how we could get our keys after the office closed (at 7pm). However when we got there at 8pm she had actually stayed late for us and was so wonderful throughout the checking in process. Service above and beyond for sure! Some of the other reviews remark on Brynwood being dated, but that is part of the charm. Everything is functional and suffices for all our needs. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels that were not clean, rude staffed, and made for a very unpleasant stay. But if you want to stay in a "city hotel" this probably not the place for you. Personally, I will be staying here every time I come to Estes moving forward. When I come to the mountains I want to feel like I'm staying in the mountains. Not another nameless city with a generic hotel room like in have to do when I travel for work.

We had a reservation for one of the cabins and upon check in noticed our invoice was for a motel room. We also had an email confirmation for the cabin so somehow things were mixed up. The cabin we reserved was booked but the front desk was quick to put us in another cabin. Our cabin was spotless and very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s just outside of downtown Estes Park so you don’t have to deal with traffic if that’s what you want to avoid. For the money, I would definitely recommend staying at Brynnwood on the River.

This place is amazing!  Suzanne in the office (Zammy) (Zam) was so sweet and friendly, the room was awesome,  customer service (by Suzanne) was the best I've had in Colorado thus far. Already planning another stay here at Brynwood in a few months! Hot tub (even in the snow) was even more awesome!  My boyfriend and I highly recommend Brynwood on the River!

Staff are very friendly and quick to address our concerns. The cabin itself is small cozy and warm. There is no parking spots near cabins but there is off-road to park your cars near the cabin. I would be returning back to brynwood.

Great location if you want to access Rocky Mountain National Park. Most reasonable rates in the area, good sized rooms with kitchenette. Access to a pool in warmer months, hot tub access was available to us in mid October. Highly recommended.
