My brother and I only tried the wake boarding here, so no impression on how the slides and lazy river are. I'm admittedly cheap but had no problem paying $48 for a couple hours boarding in the cable park. It was a ton of fun. My brother and I (19 and 22 years old) had ridden wake boards only once before this several years ago - no big deal at BSR. There were other noobs and the staff were chill with us eating it right off the dock the first ten times we tried to get up. They did their best to help too, which was cool, but it's something you kinda have to feel out for yourself. Anyway, we went from crashing off the dock to jumping some ramps by the end of our two hours. Could've extended it to four hours for an extra $9 if we wanted but had to get going, not that anyone was in our face about clocking our gear in after our 120 minutes were up. Totally laid back vibe from everyone involved. Loved the music too. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try out wake boarding, and I'll be back myself.

OK - this place rocks. And here's why. Besides the fact that it's a really cool place to hang, the people are the bomb. I came off the big slide and lost my class ring. That's a huge hunk of TCU gold. I told the managers about it, but never expected to see it again. Until 2 weeks later when I got a call and was told they found it. No kidding. Amazingly good souls.

Awesome! Took 12 and 16 yo grandsons. They loved it, open to close. The whole staff was great, especially Zane, their wake board instructor. As far as the complaints on here go, ignore. If you want perfection there are plenty of water parks around. If you want something really different that they'll find exciting, this is it!

BSR is a lot of fun, but also has a lot of kinks... The river is definitely long enough, but not wide enough. At one point, it gets to where only two inner tubes can fit side by side. The river seemed way dirtier than the first time I went. You couldn't even see the steps to get in it. And it was very disgustingly warm. There should be more than one outlet to get in and out. And possibly some ice dumps along the river. I felt like I was floating in piss...which I likely was. I really think that there should also either be more seating areas or at least a little smoother terrain to sit your ass on. There were people walking all through our stuff that we had camped out. You have to get there early if you want a picnic table and fight over them. I still cannot wrap my head around why there are no lifeguards on the river...yet, it's advertised as a family park. This place gets more and more popular every year, I think they should think about expanding or at least having a park limit or something. It was unbearably crowded and rowdy. The lazy river is only really worth twenty bucks if you get there at opening time. And even then, you'll only get to go around five times, if you aren't disgusting like most people and you actually get out to pee. Despite all of this, it is actually pretty fun if you can ignore everything above. I think I might want to go back during a weekday.

Awesome place to go wakeboarding! I've been going here for years and love the place! Always has a good vibe and a decent crowd! The kickers here are my favorite of all the Texas parks and their other features are a ton of fun too!
