Love this gem of a Ma and pa hotel. However, if you are not well versed in hotels this type of hotel could be a very wrong choice. The price verses the proximity to the beach is aces. The staff here has been more than friendly and accommodating over the 4 summers I have stayed here. This is not a family hotel. Although me and my young daughter stay here for a week at a time. This is a couples hotel or a party type hotel. The rooms are small and nicely renovated for the most part. The second floor is most quiet and avoiding the weekend here is your best bet if you want to relax. If coming here as young adults or teens the apartments out in the parking lot are a great deal. Parking is minimal here. I park and take a cab most often. It's a quaint cute hotel. Not sure why guests are not respectful and let the spring doors on rooms slam shut as they come and go. Makes it difficult to get a good nights sleep here. Still worth it though. .

We booked this hotel for one night due to there not being any other availability. Our first impression was decent, the lobby was nice and clean and was very quiet. When we headed for our room the steps were incredibly steep and the halls were very narrow. We arrived to our room which was very clean with a newly renovated bathroom. The room was extremely small but was just big enough to be functional for the three of us. The location was great as we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. Parking was a disaster. Thereis a small lot out back but once full, the over flow was several blocks away. The staff was very friendly and they have a security guard for night time hours. We paid $209 for the night and I feel like this rate was incredibly too high for the size of the rooms. If you are just looking for a place to lay your head at night, this is a good place, if you are taking a family vacation with children, I would recommend choosing another place to stay.

Room was very clean with a TV. Shower worked and there was plenty of soap and nice shampoo. However walls were wafer thin.. not good! The common areas were pretty poorly carpeted and could do with an upgrade. The check-in Guyana security were pleasant and helpful even though it was almost 2am. For parking.. Park along the kerb except where it is painted red. This is a tow-away zone. Ocean City was alive with late teens/early twenty somethings clearly enjoying themselves.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The room was very small, it smelled moldy, and had a urine stench. The carpet had a 70s look with dark stains. The sheets were dingy, thin, and coarse. We did not sleep well for 3 nights. There was no closet to put our clothing we had to keep our luggage on the dirty dingy moldy carpet. The pictures and reviews on the website are deceiving it's nothing like what the website shows. This hotel is overpriced too much money for such a dirty dump. We spent most of our time outside the room and came late at night to sleep. I love Ocean city Maryland but I hated this hotel. Looks are deceiving it's beautiful outside but horrible inside!!!!

Overall not a bad stay. We booked for $40/night so not super high expectations. Room was very tiny, only room for the bed, dresser, and bathroom. Bathroom was new, modern, and clean. Beds were OK could have been comfier/ better pillows. Staff was very friendly.
