Nice park on the Colorado River. Boat ramp, shaded sites, cabanas. Very peaceful in February — at least before the inconsiderate go-fast boat drivers start screaming up and down the river — although I’ve been told it’s a zoo on summer weekends. Affordable, nice showers. Unfortunately, restaurant, “boutique,” and marina were closed, although I was able to park my boat at the floating dock.

Loved this park. Nice that it's not too big. Lots of room between sites. Beautiful setting on the Colorado River. Very clean and well cared for. Will definitely come back.

This is a must see. Hiked the trail to the old mines. Up and down with some fairly steep spots but we'll worth it. Park is very clean. The volunteers are really nice and they host a few events there. Saw monarch butterflies last year. Several different species of birds and the stars at night are unreal. Right on the river too.

This beautiful park was overshadowed by the disgusting odor coming from it's mostly ignored sewer plant. At times as much as 30% of the park smelled like septic sludge. When we complained about the odor and asked to be moved they did offer to refund our money but we couldn't find a place within a reasonable drive to stay. (we have had this reservation for about 6 weeks) The staff was for the most part friendly and in total agreement that the smell was awful but nothing could be done about it. (How about hiring a licensed sewer plant operator) It is a beautiful park but if you plan to visit here stay out of the first three rows. I do intend to notify the Arizona DNR. The district supervisor, the governors office, and the EPA. THIS IS NOT JUST A SMELL, IT'S METHANE GAS AND HYDROGEN SULFIDE.

I stay here every year for the past 7 years to watch the Parker 425 off-road race. Always a pleasure, the view is great, location is not to far from town, and staff are friendly and helpful. This place is ALWAYS clean!
