The new Lake View Loop hiking trails are very nice and provide excellent vistas of the lake and surrounding desert mountains. Burro Saddle and the Summit also have cell service. In honor of the 60th anniversary of Arizona State Parks, the name change to Arizona State Parks and Trails, and the winning of a national award for some of the best state parks in the country, your Alamo Lake volunteer crew are putting the finishing touches on two new trails for your hiking pleasure. Spenser Loop is an easy meandering path through Spenser Wash and Buckskin Loop is a challenging hike quite a distance into the park with several beautiful overlooks. Why not come out and try hiking here some time and give us your feedback?

Very nice and clean camping spots that were all very clean. Spots for dry camping and fun hookups were nice. Good park for off-road toys like Razors (seemed to be just about the only thing folks were driving there).

So peaceful out here. Definitely worth the drive. Sites are clean and spaced well apart.

The lake seems like it would be pretty nice to be out on a boat with but even with that camping air looks like it sucks because the spots are so far from the shore and there's barely any shore access by foot or climbing up and down a very Steep Hill. If you like to do shore fishing this is not the place to go.

We are off roaders, razors and quads and we spent the first night over with the fishermen, which was very nice with full hookups and all, bathrooms and showers were great, then we found out about the other part of the park where the riding trails were and moved over there. Very nice lake!
