Very disappointed with this company; been customer for almost 10 years but after what happened on August 26th, will look for another car rental company!
Had a one way daily rental from Boston to Newington, CT; picked up the car at 2:00pm at Logan Airport and dropped it off at the Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT location  (apparently independently operated) at approx. 7pm on the SAME day. Because it was afterhours and the office was closed, I parked the car in the back, on an assigned return parking spot, and dropped off the keys in the “Express Car Return” box, following the respective directions listed on the same box. 
To my surprise, I was charged an extra day, totaling $177.00. I tried to approach Lisa, the store manager, to no success. Contacted the Corporate office, still to no success. They are asking me for the Budget Rapid Return slip which I don’t have, because I dropped it off in the return box along with the keys, as requested. 
Long story short, I have a 24 hour rental which I return 19 hours ahead of schedule and because of the negligent of the staff running this location (which btw has really poor reviews), I  ended up paying for an extra day; meaning an additional $177.00. 

This is a follow up review on my issue with Budget.
After 3 weeks, Budget Corp. issued a full refund after a thorough review of my case. Thanks Budget. Will do business again!!!

Don't go here. Cars or less than new. And dirty and costumer service desk at location does little to rectify mistakes they made on there side. Long story short I didn't get my rental which was all ready paid. But on other noted budgets 1 800# customers service was great! Gave me a full refund without the $150 cancelation fee.

Terrible ! Management are just unskilled representives.  I caution you ! Please don't rent from this conniving place of business. I payed two months in advance to have  a specific  vehicle,  but they change the vehicle at the last minute. So Fine. STRIKE ONE .  I Get the vehicle and the vehicle is dirty and contains NO WINDSHELD WASHING FUILDING    ( didn't realize that until trying to clean the dirty windsheld.  ) STRIKE TWO.  All and all we could of dealt with the dirty vechicle( had no choice the day of the trip )  but the next thing was when it crossed the line. This " LOVELY " company failed to tell us easy pay was activated and they failed to check or deactivate  for the next customer ( us ). Instead of " The customer is always right" we were blamed and was told we opened something / touched something. We have cash why use the easy pay !? We didn't touch a thing . I Spoke to a ignorant  associate and a very arrogant supervisor ,CARL to be exact,  about this  and received terrible customer service. I was asked " why are you so mad  " as if getting a dirty vechicle with an activated easy pay, without notice wouldn't make any consumer mad. STRIKE THREE .   Lastly,  top it off with the "  Stellar" customer service,   I  was given numbers to call instead of making me satisfied with the rental .   I caution you!  please use enterprise . The  Only reason I didn't was the mileage and budget has unlimited. Lesson learned ! I Will pay for mileage for now on.  They lost a good customer. The associates and management don't fall far from the tree.  Precede with a lot of caution . This place isn't worth a star.  YOU'RE /THEY'RE OUT

I was pleased with the condition and cleanliness of the car I rented and the convenience of parking my car in the Budget parking lot.  The manager, Lisa, even applied a discount for me that I had tried to use online but was not able.  The office hours are very flexible, and they are even open for several hours on Sunday.  I would definitely rent from them again.

The wort ever place to rent a car.
Starting from pick up till I delivered the car i had a terrible experience.
Extremely unfriendly staff
Specially the lady the counter.
