At one time they had roaches. About 2 1/2 years ago. Since then he has done a lot of work there to make it better.

NEW ROOMS!! I'm a local and they renovated the place and it's so much better!! Flat screen TV with refrigerator and microwave. I think they had Comcast as the provider so that was good rather than local channels! Defiantly Go here guys!!

I spent six months cycling from New Hampshire to Panama. My accommodations ran the gamut, from free camping on beaches to $100 a night hotels. However, in the entirety of my trip, this place was THE WORST. In a bind, I was forced to rent a room in a brothel in San Pedro Sula Honduras, and it was an upgrade on this dump. 

My room was disgusting - a dank, filthy, smelly dump. The term "non-smoking" is clearly intended to be understood in the present tense. I could not smoke, but the previous guests clearly had. The experience was compounded by a lack of honesty on the part of management, who jacked up the rate that I was quoted on the phone. I understand that you get what you pay for, but the reality is more nuanced. I have found a wide range of quality in the $60-$70 range motels. I would take a park bench over this place.

Cheap room, and I got what I paid for. At least no crack heads knocking on the door. But they did discount the room since they said the cable TV was out city wide - even though it wasn't!

I've been coming here for the past year. I rented out for a day time to time but just recently I checked into a room and was very happy to see the new upgrades that they've made. Definitely recommend staying here folks. Low price with a nice room.
