From some prior reviews, I was doubtful. BUT....my stay was wonderful. Clean, fresh smelling room even though we reguested smoking rooms. Fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, TV and a/c all functional. Comfy clean beds and pillows and we slept like babies. Nice breakfast, but a nasty Indian man felt that restocking and cleaning was more important than stepping aside to actually allow guests to get their food and eat.  Great woman at the front desk. Pet friendly. A strange assortment of nonthreatening folks at breakfast (a giant man in a kilt?!).  Pretty pool but we didn't use it. Nice bathroom and I Love the lotion. Great value and great price!

Older hotel, but very clean and well kept. desk staff very friendly. beds comfortable.  would definitely stay again. best bang for your buck in my opinion

Great price for a room! Simple but comfortable accommodations, pet friendly, in a good location for walking to the downtown and strolling through the nearby historic neighborhoods. The staff were slightly unfriendly during check in, but this wasn't a big deal. The free breakfast is simple but did the job. A good place to stay over when you're on a budget!

Good decent stay it's an it older but for that kept nice . Clean and efficient.  Breakfast is ample but also basic.  All rooms have fridge and microwave.  Hot showers ( not lukewarm) and good shower head height.  Also good for staying near where they AT thru hikers are (center of hiker friendly area as for as hotels go but most will. E at nearby hostels and camping).  Pool is nice to have.   Also it is drive up to the door which is nice for being on the road.

Older hotel, clean, nice room, staff very helpful.this is our 2nd visit. We we're lucky to get the room, peak in the leaves changing time.
