The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. For three of us, we ordered two items: french toasts and pancakes.  We still had one french toast and one pancakes after the breakfast. We asked for a side for whipped cream and they didn't charge for it. The service was amazing. We could tell that the people working there were genuinely nice. The server wasn't upset at all that we shared two things among three of us. I would definitely recommend this place. If you aren't one of the the first ones there to put your name down, you would definitely need to wait about 20 minutes to get a spot.

I tried really hard to go here today. When we arrived, there were 2 parties in front of us- 2 and 6. While we were waiting, the party of 6 grew to 10 and the server then forgot about us. She sat numerous people in front of us. After 40 minutes of waiting (and watching them give away a booth to a couple that just arrived), I asked the server when we would be seated. She realized she skipped us completely and apologized. All would have been forgiven but then, instead of seating us quickly, she went in the back to chit chat with the other staff. This left us standing in the cold with our baby even longer than necessary. She was rude and apathetic. 

I'll never come back. I don't care how good the food supposedly is, it's not worth being treated that badly.

UPDATE: Both the owner and the server reached out to me to personally apologize and explain the situation. I have not had the opportunity to return to the restaurant but their responses have definitely made an impact. I will return again sometime to give it another shot.

Great old-fashioned atmosphere but with benches that are comfortable! Really great comfort food had a great omelette with spinach and bacon and cheese potatoes are roasted to Perfection and the coffee is delicious. Super friendly staff.

This place is great. Feels like a diner, but the food is more special. Better than typical sandwiches burgers and outstanding breakfasts. Today they had a special of chiliquiles, the best I've ever had.

This place is awesome.  Cool old timey diner with Portland grade food and better than Portland grade service.  Can't go wrong here.
