I was impressed by Cafe Ponte -- and surprised that for the ninety or so minutes I was there, I only saw one other patron! In fact, I felt like someone "in the know" for being there. Turns out, I visited within their first two months of business (Sept 2015). This is a smaller shop behind the park near the river with great wooden tables and well-made drinks. I stopped in to kill time before I could check-in to my hotel, and ended up staying until close at 4PM because the space was (temperature) cool, calm, and enjoyable.

Coffee mug were preheated! They have small disposable sample cups to try their daily coffees and the atmosphere is really relaxing! Nice staff and service with a modern and chic vibe in an old building.

This is a friendly and welcoming coffee shop. The drip coffee is just fine and doesn't cost too much. Cute shop!
