We had an excellent shopping and buying experience with the gun counter outfitter, Stephen. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to help my find just the right item, at the right price. We also interacted the extremely friendly and professional Joy in customer service. I could not have asked for two better people to help me. You would do well to ask for them when you visit.

This is one of the many places down here that you feel at home as soon as you walk in! Check your side arm at the door (even have a smithy clean and oil it for you), approach any of the staff and they're willing to help, and the place smells like sweet delicious honey roasted peanuts!!! We had to buy a generator for the storm, and they not only walked us through the process, buy they wheeled it out to the truck and loaded it up for us as well! Top notch service here!!

The staff are always friendly, especially the customer service and firearms counter personnel. The firearms counter personnel are fairly knowledgeable and are up to date on many of the manufacturers' current issues and product releases. The staff aren't super pushy, but they do try and encourage you to get a Cabelas credit card. Overall, being the only Cabelas in Augusta, it's a solid location for many of your outdoor needs!

Love, love, love Cabela's. This particular one is great. Employees were friendly and knowledge. Shelves were fully stocked and the store is clean. Just wish I had more money to get the things I want there. This is a great place for all things outdoors.

Not the best Cabela's I've been to.. but a good selection of items for many categories. Firearms seemed a little light in inventory and they don't have a great display of taxidermy like other locations I've been at.. quality gear, some a little pricey, others reasonable.
