Ethiopian Cuisine: food, spices and herbs
Unique cuisine with extensive vegan dishes and succulent meat dishes too. Each dish is served with bread (injera) baked with Teff, the gluten free wonder grain indigenous to Ethiopia. Our 'catering adventure' series featuring "Flavors of Ethiopia" has delighted event attendees throughout Northern California.
Cafe Colucci's mission is to bring to the Bay Area this ancient culinary art form. The spices and herbs are organic, hand picked and delicately seasoned. Our cooking classes are intended to share the knowledge of talented Ethiopian women with centuries-old secret recipes, including clarifying butter, baking without oil, eggs, sugar or other familiar unhealthy ingredients.
