I'm posting this review from the cafe because I didn't want to forget to submit this. I love this place! I picked up a heavy package from the post office and was trying not to venture too far to find a nice light lunch. Unfortunately my timing coincided with a power outage and I couldn't find anyone serving dood. I stopped into f&b and while their power was also out, they invited me in and offered me a sandwich from their grab & go fridge. And I loved it! I had a slow roast beef sandwich and I'd definitely get one again. The employees clearly have fun working here and made everyone feel welcome today. They made a loyal customer out of me. I'll definitely be back!

these folks rock! great food, can call in early for small or large orders [which i would advice as they're usually pretty busy at lunch rushes!], prices good and portions more than fair. and always a friendly face!! nice healthy, pretty and light choices

A tiny but on the spendy side for the amount served but great tasting food.

Good to see all the "stuff" happening around the Burnside Bridgehead. Stopped in this place today for lunch and was pleased with my meal. The ham and sharp cheddar panini had a decent amount of meat and cheese and arugula, though maybe a bit much sauce. That's not exactly a complaint, more of I couldn't find the bathroom to wash my hands after. I also didn't ask because they were super busy and I don't wanna be that guy. But thankfully it's Portland in February and I just walked outside and washed my hands in the rain. Had the cup of Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice, the special of the day, and wanted to like it more than I actually liked it. Not that it was bad or gross. It just was blah. And it shouldn't have been because it had lots of chunky veggies and rice and a nice thick broth but, alas, it simply fell flat. Overall I'm was happy with the experience and price. I'd definitely come back and bring a friend.
