Just stopped by to see if I could get some info on an older reel. Had to wait a bit however both sales people were and are very friendly. My reel is over 20 years old ,just don't want to part with it . Will gave it a couple of turns opened it up and had it adjusted before I could thank him. Great service for a new costumer . Thanks again Will

Just stopped in to get some last minute gear for a trip to Cedros Island and had some tremendously thoughtful help from Shaun and the crew. I'm so happy I drove all the way from Santa Cruz and can now leave know I ready to try and catch calicoes, halibut, and ???? on a fly. Thanks so much Nell

I went into this fly shop a couple weeks ago to buy my first fly fishing set up. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will was nice enough to set me up with exactly what I needed. He ran me through what I would need to get out on the water, and didn't try to upsell me on any of the extras that I probably wouldn't be able to take advantage of for a while. He was also nice enough to direct me towards the Golden Gate Angler and Casting Club which holds free casting lessons every second Saturday of the month in Golden Gate Park. I was very impressed with the customer service here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fly shop in the bay area.

I love this place. I am in the beginning stages of my fly fishing career and everyone in the shop has been quite helpful. They're even friendly when I don't buy anything and just go there to ask their advice. Sincerely, I'm stoked that this place is only 20 minutes from where I live.

Very good looking shop, great hand-made drift boat in entry I have never been in such a great looking fly shop as most are small overcrowded and a bit dingy and dirty. Not so here, great staff, so why only two stars. Well only had short time in area business trip and looked online at the full rod rack when I arrived this rack that covers the entire wall from front to back maybe space for 350 rods was less than one quarter full. Only three 9' 5wt rods on entire rack in June, I should have called before spending $75 on taxi back and forth to airport, but relied on their photo on their web site.
