Top notch for nature lovers 5 to 105. Paved trails between items of interest. Birds of Prey exhibit is an excellent display of raptors up close and in flight. With Christmas upon us, check out the drive through light display. Also available, the open air tram that takes you through the light exhibit. Bring warm blankets as they are very nice to keep your legs warm. Sorta like a hay ride without the mess. Expensive though... $24 per person. But there is plenty to do in main building. Many vendors selling peanut butter to hand sewn crafts. Don't forget to taste the hot coco!

We went to the restaurant (Cason's Tap Room) the customer service was top shelf, the staff and customers all had smiles, there was absolutely no drama. No one was complaining or talking about how ready they were to go home. The food was seasoned and was at the proper temperature. There were candles lit at each table, and there was complete peace everywhere. I was more than satisfied with everything I saw, smelled, tasted, touched, and heard.

Beautiful setting. We buy season passes which are very reasonable. Azelea festival is a great way to kick off your spring. However, it is pretty amazing year round with seasonal offerings like Fantasy in Lights, golfing, swimming and putt putt and shuffle board and ping pong and great playground. The bird show is awesome with a background of one of the gorgeous lakes. Trails are so well maintained for hiking/walking and bike riding. There is a zip line and bikes to rent. Butterfly gardens and green house are really amazing. One of our favorite activities is riding through gardens in a golf cart you can lease at pro shop. Take your own picnic items and drinks with you because there is not much available once you are inside and eat in one of the beautiful picnic areas throughout. Try it! You will not regret it!

All this place is just so awesome! I have stayed in the cottages and I've also stayed at the hotel. I recommend going to see the butterfly exhibit that is truly amazing. And it is beautiful all year round especially in the springtime when everything is blooming. And just a little ways up the road you can go to the top of the mountain and See For Miles and Miles. That is beautiful to see you year-round. Also it's a great place to go during Christmas time especially with family children and friends the light show is out of this world the people are really friendly that work there and it's just a peaceful fun place to be. I have been going for at least 30 years. I remember going whenever I was about 16 years old the first time. Highly recommend!

If I could give no stars I would. After $29 admission and $50 boat rental fee we spent two hours going out and PADDLING back in due to dead batteries. The first set lasted 45 minutes, 10 of which was moving. The second set last maybe an hour. I’ll never waste my money here again. Fish somewhere else...
