My car has been serviced five or six times at Capitol Automotive. I’m thrilled with their service, prices, and attitude. They go above and beyond for about half the price of the dealerships.  Thanks Capital for all you do to keep me safe on the road.

Fast and friendly. I was referred to Capitol by my tire dealer because I needed an alignment. I didn't know if it needed front and rear or just one of those. I was impressed with their honesty with the news that only the front end was out of alignment. They also did a free inspection of fluids, brakes, etc., and again, said I only needed new windshield wipers. Plus they gave me a good recommendation for  a good breakfast place nearby while they did the work.

The people here are very friendly and I wold have loved to give 5 stars But they cannot fix Fiats here.  

Their website and pre-appointment information is very misleading.  I called days before I ended up taking my car in to insure that they could fix my oddball of a car, telling them all the issues.  They said on the phone they might need to order a part but would give no more information yet assured me they could indeed work on Fiats.  After a day in the shop they found that they could not do anything with the electrical issue (of which they googled ) and also did not have the part they needed to fix my headlight - because Fiat parts are different.

I just feel that if they say they can fix a problem, like my headlight, and I give time for them to have parts before I come in, that they should be ready for my vehicle, when their website says they can indeed fix my kind of vehicle.

All in all, very disappointed in paying over $100 dollars and then being told they cannot fix a thing.  I get that they need to be paid for their time, but it just seemed like A LOT of money to pay to be told I have to go to a dealership.

It's not easy to find a good mechanical repair facility that you can trust. But, I just found one at Capitol Automotive. All work was thoroughly explained before being completed by a competent mechanic with years of experience. I am very satisfied that the work was done correctly and the price for doing it was fair. I lost faith in another local facility that I had used for several years when that Service Manager lied to me about a repair. My three vehicles will now be getting serviced at Capitol Automotive for what I'm sure will be a long time.
