My boyfriend bought a car from here about 10 months ago. At the time it seemed like a good idea, mostly because he desperately needed a car and had some credit issues. Upfront the people were helpful and supportive. About 9 months after buying the car the stupid thing started breaking down. He drives long distances for work so when the transition broke he was 1000 miles over his warranty and they did nothing to help him. He has had the car for under a year and already has to pay more than the car is worth to fix it! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I will never recommend a carhop to anyone! It was a horrible choice to buy a car from here. Not only do you have to pay more than what the car is worth, but you are getting an unreliable heap of garbage with wheels. I would do everything in your power to not buy a car from here. Especially if you are looking for a reliable safe car that will last you more than 10 months.

I went with a friend to help her to get a car here. Despite one of the cars not even starting when we went to crank it up for a test drive, she still bought a (different) car from the lot. I won't even ride in the car again because I hate being stranded, and she's always stranded. The car had engine problems within the first month and no loaner vehicle was provided while they kept the car for more than a month to half-fix it. The car continued having one major issue after another. More often than not, she is paying a high car note while having no operable transportation. That thing is always in the repair shop, costing her astronomical amounts of money. 

If the high rating and good reviews on this site are tempting you to buy a vehicle from Car Hop, know this: When I left the lot with my friend after buying her car, the sales rep asked her to give a 5 star rating and told to her not to bother rating if she would give less than 4. It seems they encourage you to give a 5 star rating before your car breaks down, which will be sooner than later. Ratings aside, trust me... you'll be making a very expensive mistake if you buy a car from Car Hop.

I am very happy with my 2007 Buick lacrosse Cx that I bought from this lot, I only took away one star because I inspected the vehicle myself and found 2 problems with my car, one problem was not so serious and I took care of myself but  there was a leak on the gas line due to rust/corrosion I'm not sure how it was missed. Carhop actually has great warranty coverage, if you have enough knowledge about cars, inspect it yourself or have a professional look at your car, never blindly buy a used car, every person that has given this specific Carhop a bad rating is probably because they didn't read their warranty and most likely didn't have their vehicle inspected, this is a must when buying a used vehicle, Carhop fixed my problem absolutely for free. If I could give customer service a separate rating I would give them 5 stars, Jennifer and Heather helped me with everything, they were detailed with information they gave me, they we're extremely nice and their professional attitude was amazing, I really, really hope that anyone looking to buy a car from Carhop has confidence, don't be afraid they have amazing customer service at the Burnsville location, I am extremely happy with my car and customer service that I received from this store and I will gladly recommend this location to anyone that is the market for a car!

I am a first time car buyer and couldn't be more satisfied with how wonderful and helpful the staff were at this location! I walked in for my appointment and was able to leave with a car within a few hours. I'm am very happy with this dealer and how easy they made everything to understand and pay. What a great company!

CarHop in Burnsville was the place to go. Recently went in not knowing if I could get a car or not. Jennifer was the one who helped me throughout most of the process and I walked out a happy customer. Thank you Jennifer and Heather for making my experience stress free and satisfying.
