If you want to take a roundtrip ride on the Coaster from San Diego to Oceanside.... it costs $5.50 for seniors. One of my favorite destinations is Carlsbad Village. The station is several blocks to numerous shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. A fantastic day trip. There are several more beach town stops all along the route.

Good coaster station at least in comparison to Oceanside. Not a lot of food choices but there is coffee in the morning and some stadium style fair to choose from.

No frills at this station. It is what it is, a train stop. There's a small coffee stand and easy access parking and drop off, but there's no station master and it's a single track, meaning if you don't know how the train works, there's no way to get help unless your fellow passengers can and you have to wait for trains to pass by each other before boarding. Be sure you get on going the right way.
