Story

Tapas are a wide variety of small, flavorful appetizers that are meant to be shared and savored. The serving of tapas is designed to encourage conversation, and by tradition almost always accompanied by wine.

Using local products, services and purveyors when available is just one way Carmen is able to recognize and respond to the needs of the community, allowing for a true community partnership.

By anticipating our customer's needs in a warm and inviting atmosphere, Carmen will continuously strive to be the place where the locals go to enjoy a variety of internationally modern cuisine.

Casual or dressy attire.

Yes, we have an outside covered patio with flowers; open during good weather. :)

There was a bit of a wait with the rain, but it was well worth it. Wife and I started with the baked brie, cherry chutney bacon topped appetizer. Very good, but the gnocchi was phenomenal. We decided to get the Alfredo sauce with seared shrimp and it was perfect. Father-in-law had the fish and chips and claims it was the best he has ever had and my mother-in-law has the steak and said it was great.

Charming dining area, attentive and proficient staff. For the best experience sit in the upper bar, Carlos trends bar several evenings and he's an excellent bar tender and really takes care of those in the bar. Drinks are excellent, food is well above par, being more along the lines of gourmet at a bistro price. Menu is "updated" regularly, making it a requirement to return often to be sure you don't miss any of the exciting offerings.

Pretty good. My wife enjoyed the street tacos and I had the buffalo burger. The view there was nice and there was no wait.

Lovely little place. We were passing by Woodland on our way to Breckenridge through the scenic byway. And decided to stop for a bite in this hidden gem. Great local service with fantastic food. We had 1/2 pound buffalo burger medium rare... great flavor, perfectly cooked. Salmon bisque had a ton of flavor too. Sweet fries were on point. Prices are decent for the quality received. Highly recommended.

My mom ordered the snapper and it was awesome. We came back a second time, she ordered it again and it was overcooked, dry, and extra spicy. No problem they were going to fix it, however after they took it away the "owner" came out and tried to discredit her take on the quality of food she received. He even pointed out the small bite that she spit out because it was over done as "looks like you did a lot of chewing there" when the piece of fish wasnt even on her plate anymore she put it on an appetizer plate and sent it back. If it would have still been on the plate there would have been one bite gone. We really liked coming here until today. Its a shame business owners like trying to break down customers like a used car salesman.
