Was blessed to be invited to the soft opening and was absolutely amazed at the experience!  Was truly the best food I have ever eaten, from appetizer through the dessert.  The presentation on the plates was absolutely beautiful, and I have never had such an amazing meal with all dishes.  I have eaten at a number of fine establishments across the country and this is now officially the best dining I have ever had.  The chef is amazing, and Paula Sue is a total sweetheart!  Excellent, friendly staff, beautiful environment.  Who would have guessed that bread pudding could be to die for?  Truly amazing, made with the finest ingredients clearly, by a chef that treasures the opportunity to show his gifts!

Went for lunch and left very pleased, fully satisfied, and looking forward to going in for dinner or Sunday brunch sometime soon. Staff was attentive; unique, cozy place, with a kind of southern-'kitch' decor. Thought they nailed the food; it was fresh and tasted high-quality, plus the lettuce is locally-sourced, which is appreciated! The tab was less than expected (based on some previous reviews). Seemed like average prices and portions for a restaurant that isn't just serving a bunch of previously frozen food. Had the hot brown, french fries, chicken salad sandwich, fried pickles (one of the daily specials) and the pork rinds, which came out still sizzling and popping :-)  I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my visit, hope they keep it up!

Extremely delicious food for this small town. They are very accommodating if you have certain diet restrictions, also. Just ask your server. They do have 3 different menus for different hours of services which is a bit confusing. However, the amount of choices is nice. The food is made from scratch, family owned. I do agree with a prior review that some items are a bit pricey. That would be my only concern. Otherwise, it has a great atmosphere! I will be back for more pecan pie.

Great, homey atmosphere. Fabulous, caring service. The food is delicious. I had the loaded baked potato and the elk chili was divine. If you're in Woodland Park, give it a shot!

Great Restaurant! Food was great. Staff was friendly and efficient. The decor is delightful. Excellent first impression. Will definitely be back.
