Story

The Country Lodge in Woodland Park, Colorado is nestled at the base of Pikes Peak. Pikes Peak, known as "America's Mountain" offers you an absolutely stunning backdrop during your stay at the Country Lodge.

The Country Lodge is the newest, modern multi-unit property in the Woodland Park, Colorado area. Our guests enjoy immaculate accommodations with 60 spacious rooms featuring one king and two queen bed options. Our conference room can easily meet the needs for groups up to 50 people. Guests can take a dip in our large indoor swimming pool, relax in the whirlpool, and enjoy a fresh continental breakfast each morning. The Country Lodge is a non-smoking hotel.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. When I had called to check our reservation they said we were a no show. They said we had reservations for Friday and Saturday night. So for the clerks mistake we were charged for the rooms which we didn’t have for two nights. I tried to talk to the clerk but all she could do is cut me off. The only way you can dispute the charges is by email. They don’t even have enough common curtesy to talk to yo. Plus the rooms have not been updated the mattress are old and uncomfortable and charge way to much for this. So stay somewhere else. All around rude

I had family in town and we were unable to host all 5 of them. We booked a nice room at Country Lodge and it was a great option. Party of 3 kids under age 8 and 2 adults, they had a blast in the pool, beautiful patio and pub, breakfast and the room was just right.. Such a nice place to have out of town guests stay here when you cannot accommodate them.

We had a great experience here. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The fresh cookies were a treat. Everyone was friendly. We lived seeing the deer right outside the hotel.

I stayed at the Lodge for one night while I attended a wedding near by. We were running ahead of schedule, so we called to ask if we could check in closer to 2, rather than 3 when we were scheduled. They said that was fine and that we should show up on fifteen minutes. We did. Check in was fine, everyone was nice, quick, and helpful; however, when we got to the room, it had not been fully cleaned. The trash cans were full, the towels not changed, and there was even an old wine cork left on top of the refrigerator. I'm not sure if it was a fluke due to our early arrival, but none the less it happened. A rather significant blunder that detracted from an otherwise good stay.

Staff was accommodating and friendly. Room had a small fridge. TV & WiFi were solid. Nice deck area with fire just outside the pool area. Pub onsite with live music some nights. No room service but you can go to pub, order food and they'll bring it up to your room. Beds were decent but the comforters had spots on them. Would still stay due to its excellent central location. A little more attention to detail makes this places an easy 4 star.
