I guess this place must be pretty hit or miss from what I see on the reviews. I have eaten here several times mostly for Saturday all you can eat beef rib night. The staff has always been friendly and the food good. The beef ribs are excellent and one of the only places you can still get beef ribs. Service does get a little slow sometimes if they're busy but that's to be expected at a little mom and pop place.

I came in at bad time I guess, there were  about ten people there and only three waiters, I came in for a quick lunch and ordered the chopped brisket sandwich plate. It should have been called a minced sandwich, I found a plastic toothpick in it as I bit it into in one of my bites of the sandwich. Anyway, it took 10 minutes to be noticed before I ordered and 30 mins to be served. It was a sandwich with fries and tea to drink an ended up with a 11 dollar bill. I will not go there again. The salad bar looked nice and the ambiance was cool, but the serve and food was not worth my money or time.

The place was busy with what seemed like one server on a Friday night. It's a seat yourself restaurant and figure out on your own who to pay (hint: look in the back for a cash register).  The food was decent and fair portion sizes but it was hard to get the servers attention because he was so busy.  I overheard the server talk trash about a co-worker to a customer. That was VERY distasteful and will prevent me from returning. We all have bad days at work and lazy co-workers but that is not necessary.

So I wish we had better customer service. This place is obviously really popular, but the ribs were lack luster. Only four ribs to a plate? Did we order off the kids menu?? I think it may have been a one time experience, considering the crowd and Google ratings, but this was my personal experience. 
Also, would it will you guys to dust a little?

The food was OK. Maybe it was an off-night (a Saturday) but the brisket and ribs were very tough and dry. The chicken and sausage was great though. Try the savory churros, we loved those. $7 to add-on their salad bar was not worth it, even though it's all you can eat. They didn't have a variety of enough ingredients for $7. All in all, it was an OK experience.
