Office is very neglectful to give patients a call to let them know they are unable to refill a prescription.  When I tried to have my prescription refilled they denied it and let me run out of my medication without a simple phone call to let me know they could not refill my prescription nor as to why it could not be refilled. It is a med that I have been on for years and have had no issues with it. 

After giving them 10 days of waiting for them to respond to my refill request from the pharmacy I then called the office. I was told it was unable to be refilled. When I questioned why it could not be refilled the response I got was it is office policy to see the patient every 3 months. This is why our medical field is getting bad. It is not the care of patients anymore it is how much money they can make. I am a Medical Coder and have been in the medical field for years and worked very closely with doctors. This is strictly a way to get your pt's into the office more. It is very sad! My previous doctors office was great! Sadly they are back in VA where I moved from. I will be changing doctor's office and letting anyone I know not to go to this office.

 Also to add the lady I spoke with was very rude when talking to her about my prescription. My first visit to this office I was charged a specialist co-pay of $50 instead of a primary physician co-pay. I questioned it but in the end had to pay the specialist co-pay to be seen by the doctor.

Treated poorly by Geneva and Liz the office manager who hung up on me after calling me to ask me about why I had to go to emergency room after being seen for same thing on same day. Also, just totally forgot to call in prescription with no  apologies or explanation.

Dr. Elizabeth Carson is very friendly and takes her time with me. The building is nice inside, the staff is kind and the wait time is not too long at all. There is also a blood work lab in the same building which makes it convenient. I am happy I was lucky enough to find such a nice caring doctor!
