Went in and had water tested, the manger Joseph wasted 10 minutes of my time trying to figure out what kind of liner my pool has, (failed to ask if it was above ground or not) performs the water test and I buy the recommended chemicals. I returned two days later and dealt with the same man for another water test. The "gentleman" (I use the term loosely) did not recall the exchange from only two days prior, retests the water and gives me the same results. Short story: I wasted money on chemicals because of his recommendation, I wasted time because of his incompetence and inability to gather all of the information needed to properly assist me (He didn't even get the size of pool correct after I gave him measurements), and I wasted sanity trying to get him to stand behind his service. He refused to deal with me courteously and feels that I was somehow rude by calling him on his mistakes. I will never return to this location and I will inform everyone I encounter needing pool service or supplies to not consider Pinch A Penny! *Oh and when he was informed I would be leaving a bad review he threatens to sue for slander, so I say publicly DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Thankful Mrs Patti is there....just bought home with saltwater pool nearby...my husband works out of town & taking care of this pool is suddenly my responsibility (& I know nothing) As soon as I told this sweet lady my dilemma, my apprehension was set to ease! She told me how easy it is & began to teach me what to do! She never got in a hurry or impatient. She spent quite a bit of time teaching me things I need know. I now feel confident that I can take care of our pool! I've still things to learn but if & when my husband is out of town, I feel comfortable knowing this Pinch a Penny is right "up the road". Very responsive to helping my pool work as good as it should. Pump valve broke this last time and they fixed what was needed without having to replace the whole valve. Highly recommend them for their pool repair and for their in-store experience and knowledge.

Good place with much more aggressive pricing than Leslies. The best pool store in town.
