I came here to have my Tank watch battery replaced. After waiting for an hour, I was told over the phone that because the old battery was corroded and that the watch needed an entire "work up" to clean it, dust the gears, etc. This would cost $375.
I decided to come in to speak with someone before agreeing to the work.
When I came into the store, the analysis was slightly different, which made me unsure of their real reason for wanting to charge me almost $400 to change this watch battery.

I picked up the watch and took it to a clock repair place called Alexander Horn & Co in Ardmore. In about 15 minutes, a kindly gentleman took the watch and replaced the battery for $35. I asked if there was any corrosion or other reason for concern within the watch. He said that no, everything looked fine.

Long story short, the service-end of Cartier is a complete racket. Find a reliable local jeweler or clock maker to replace your battery and spare yourself the King of Prussia madness.

closed at 7:30 when they advertise they are open till 8.  Wasted a drive.  Shop somewhere else.
