The History of Carvajal Pharmacy
Carvajals, Inc. operates various pharmacies including Carvajal Pharmacy and Carvajal Pharmacy Closed-Shop (Carvajal Pharmacy CS). It is a privately held corporation owned by two brothers, Raymond and Charles Carvajal.
Working their way through high school and college with the help and support of their widowed mother, Elvira Carvajal, both graduated from Central Catholic High School and The University of Texas College of Pharmacy. Upon graduation, Raymond opened Carvajal Pharmacy in 1969 and three years later, Charles joined in Carvajal Pharmacy.
Today, Carvajal Pharmacy operates as a retail pharmacy serving the needs of the local San Antonio community. Carvajal Pharmacy CS, is a closed-shop and Mail-Order pharmacy serving numerous retirement centers, nursing homes, hospices, group homes, agency shelters, mental health clinics, and various other businesses.
