CASK
100yr old reclaimed wood floor and an antique back bar sets the tone.
Cask Bar & Kitchen harks back to a by-gone era. One of craftsmanship
and authenticity. Of dimly lit encounters, great conversation & carefully created cocktails.
We offer hand drawn cask conditioned beers, a wide variety of craft beers and an exceptional selection of wines. Well informed waist coated Barkeeps will guide the most discerning of taste buds. The Kitchen continues the simple rustic theme with its selection of cheeses, charcuterie and wide range of small plate fare.
The Cellar Bar located downstairs can be reserved for private events and incorporates a full draft system. With the same attention to décor and detail as upstairs it is the perfect setting for any event.

Strong constrasting flavours in food. Eclectic range of beer. My beer came warm to the table... Still not sure if that was supposed to be like that! Nice decor.

Great place to grab a drink or a bite to eat with friends after work. Beer and cocktail selection was plentiful as well as some seasonal offerings. Food was minimal in terms of what quantity that is being served to you but tasty nevertheless. Stools are a bit uncomfortable and for that reason I would recommend sitting on the couches around the table instead. Service was on point to end.

The food at Cask is terrific, better than most Murray Hill bars in the area. They also have great beers on tap, good cocktails and a great environment. Make a reservation for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night though. The downstairs area is a great space to reserve for a private party.

Cask Bar & Kitchen. By far my favourite place in NYC. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of their dishes. It was a delight, we had a table of 6 and they were able to cater to our every need. The bar staff were beyond expectation! The cocktails were astounding! Excellent selection for beer and wine as well. Although the dishes are not large, they are definitely filling and delectable. We ordered 8 dishes and we full to the brim by the end of the night. Our favourite dishes had to be the Mac & Cheese, the spring rolls and the deep fried pickles. (I mean I am writing this two months later, and the taste is still dancing around on my taste buds) Great ambiance and not overly crowded. For a Tuesday night the place was buzzing with energy. Would highly suggest going here.

Great happy hour with cocktails for $7! I also ordered the mushroom flatbread pizza, and was pleasantly surprised! My party of five stayed for an hour or so for happy hour as it was much too loud to have a conversation without shouting. The restaurant was dimly lit and had a rustic ambiance. The happy hour crowd is packed in the bar area, so get there early if you want to grab drinks at the bar or snag a table!
