A perfect bar manifestation of Oscar Wilde. The place is roomy but still cozy. It boasts the longest bar in NYC, and it sure looks like that is well deserved. They have a vast selection of cocktails, beer and spirits that are all reasonably priced - about $14 avg for a cocktail. The bar tenders are extremely friendly and I was lucky enough to have recommend me a drink he had created. This was a pear slice that was torched till caramelized, rye whiskey and some plum bitters. Such a great choice for the holidays! Highly recommend it - it's called "Pearadise" 😂

The decor is entertaining and keeps you occupied. The food is just a half step up from pub food but there is a good variety to choose from. Our appetizer and my entree did NOT come the way we asked for it (as in "light sauce" and "no mayo") which certainly detracted from our experience. We might go back sometime to sit at one of the three nice bars, but not going back for dining.

Great atmosphere to hang out with friends and coworkers. Not too loud so easy to have a conversation. Drinks are fun. Cool bar with vic themed interior. I tried all of their seasonal and wise guys section of drinks. Only like 3 drinks out of all the drinks I had. Not the best drinks but oh well. Food isn't the best.

I came here on the recommendation of a friend who is a fan of Wilde and had read about the establishment. We arrived around 6:30 PM on a Thursday evening. The noise (both conversation & music) was so loud it was impossible to hold a conversation - which is what I want to do when I go out with friends. The decor (the little I saw during our short visit) is great but the noise was such a turn-off that we left. My friend had gained her positive impression from the website. A good website can make anything look great. I/we will come back, probably on a weekday for lunch/brunch. Hopefully it will be less noisy and crowded and it will be a more positive experience.

BEWARE THEY WILL ADD THEIR OWN TIP AMOUNTS!!! I went here with 3 girlfriends and ordered 3 drinks. The total came out to be $42.46. I was checking my card statement and they charged themselves more than 30% tip, when I clearly remember putting down less than $5 since we only ordered drinks at the bar. If I hadn't checked my card statement, I would have never known that they had given themselves a huge tip that I NEVER signed. Isn't this fraud? Who knows how often they do this to their customers? Make sure you check your final authorized amounts since they will overcharge you!! I will be calling them today to settle this.
