I ordered a cake from Cathy for my daughters 10th Birthday. The cake  ordered was a 10" whipped cream yellow cake with fresh strawberries, cubs theme. The price for this cake was $96.00, this was by far the most expensive birthday cake I have ever purchased. I have  attached a couple of photos of the cake, decorating was ok but what was really disappointing was the cake was not whip cream and as you can see they must have been low on strawberries. When I ordered the cake I asked if fresh strawberries were still available and was told yes. The cake itself was average, very sweet frosting and as you can see the strawberries were lost in the cream. I called and spoke to Erin the next day to tell her how disappointed I was with the cake, she told me Cathy was busy and would call back, needless to say there was no call back. There are several other bakeries in the area, you will pay half the price with better quality.  Very disappointed with the lack of customer service on Cathy's part.

Very helpful staff.Many different cakes,cookies,pies to choose from.Ordered a cake for granddaughter birthday so won't know how good until then.

We used Cathy's for our wedding cake and were not disappointed. Cathy is so personable and easy to work with. We've heard from numerous guests that it was the best wedding cake they have ever eaten.

We hired Cathy to do our wedding cake for our second wedding.  We wanted something different and fun.  We wanted half traditional and the other half Star Wars themed (being as though my husband and I are Star Wars dorks).  We were nervous to see if she could meet the challange and I'm happy to say that Cathy hit a home run with this one!  Not only was the cake delicious but it looked amazing!  So cool that I had to share a couple of pics so you can see for yourself.

My family has known Cathy DeAvila for many years. Among many examples of her professional excellence, Cathy made my daughter's wedding cake. It could not have been more appropriate -- fall colors, simple, classic. Beautiful! Cathy's customer service is wonderful and I've loved the new lunches that she recently added.
